Memories of Sorcery and Sand

Two worlds. One woman. No memories. At twenty-two, Saeryn has scars she can't explain and a three year memory gap. An exotic family vacation away from her fractured past is meant to help her regain balance... except that the desert sands are calling to her with an eerie familiarity, and Malatrius—a stranger met by anything but chance—claims to know what happened during the times she can’t remember. But to trust Malatrius’s words means believing in sorcery and traveling to another world. It also means putting her future in the hands of her father's longtime rival who has reasons to hate them both, because with every restored memory Saeryn realizes that not only did Past Saeryn keep secrets from both Malatrius and her father—she’d also made a choice that could threaten the desperate scheme she’d risked her life for. And now Saeryn faces the same choice once more. Losing her life will be a minor inconvenience, but losing her memories again could be the end of her. Memories of Sorcery and Sand is a standalone character driven fantasy with dual timelines and told both in 1st and 3rd POV. Snakebitten

In the war, it was simple, “kill or be killed”. Now myth-touched Kaja will have to put her life on the line and partake in a dangerous game with the enemy. After a series of setbacks and deaths, the Scathanna finally have a lead on their mysterious adversary. A name alone is hardly enough, but Cathal has a plan, so when Lady Eithne’s orders put Kaja back in the center of Trinity’s troubles, the Scathanna will make their move… hopefully before their enemy does. Yet, Cathal’s mission verges on suicide, and when death comes courting, Kaja is desperate to find another dance partner, even if it means making deals with the Snake’s servants. Pitched against the mastermind of manipulation, Kaja will have to risk everything. One false step in this dance, and the whole of Eireland will pay the price.

Myth-Touched

In the war, being hunted by mythborn was day to day life. Peacetime had changed things, but myth-touched Kaja never expected to be hunted alongside the mythborn… With her life hanging by a thread, Kaja had little time to consider Eithne’s offer of aid. Now, free of her affliction, she bears the consequences of that decision. Stuck among her former enemies, caught navigating the nuances of lies and politics, she’s presented with little choice but to accept the out offered by Cathal, leader of the Scáthanna. But Cathal and his team have troubles of their own as an invisible enemy haunts their steps. If Kaja helps them, she’ll be targeted as well, and when dealing with a faceless enemy, the only way to survive is by carefully choosing allies and tempering trust. Failure could cost their lives.

Humanborn

In the war, the mythborn killed her friends, but now humanborn Kaja needs to work with them to uncover a conspiracy or Dublin's streets will run red with blood once more. Less than a decade ago, the Magiclysm, a tear between Earth and another place, brought magic to Ireland—and worse, it brought back the mythborn. The war that followed left Dublin scarred, and cursed Kaja Modrzewska with chaotic magic that will eventually claim her life. Struggling with wartime nightmares, Kaja seeks normalcy amongst the volatile peace working as an information broker when a series of explosions across Dublin threatens to reignite the war. Both sides are eager to blame the other, so Kaja reluctantly agrees to investigate. But finding the terrorists responsible means working alongside the mythborn’s elite killers, and uncomfortable wartime secrets coming to light. Kaja, who had saved a mythborn’s life during the war, finds out she has a life debt of her own, and as she juggles her allegiances and obligations, she’ll have to decide where her loyalties lie, with her old human allies or the mythborn.

Demon Siege

The demons have arrived, and the final battle for Kaighal is about to start. In preparation for the siege, Kamira has gathered as many allies as she could, but some are more reluctant than others. In the city about to face off against powerful demons and their hordes of demonlings, its defenders are still divided. As it becomes apparent that there’s one or more traitors in their midst, Kamira and her friends will have to take risks to ensure Kaighal doesn’t fall. While humans struggle with their own challenges, five demons vie for supremacy over one another. If Kamira has her say, that's five demons too many, and they all have to go, one way or another… even if she and Veelk have to face them on their own. Humans, demons, and magic will clash changing the future of Kamira and Veelk’s home. But to truly save it might require more sacrifice than they expect.

Shadows Over Kaighal

When one’s plan to save the world includes setting a powerful demon free, one might want to consider what happens afterwards. Kamira was hoping she could just go about her life again, and that was a mistake. To finally have a chance at freeing Veranesh, Kamira had made some risky decisions, surrendering herself to the mercy of the archmages and trusting that her companions, Veelk and Koshmarnyk, would carry out other essential parts of their plan. In her wildest dreams she hadn’t expected that her actions would leave her with more trouble than less. Now she has a whole city on her shoulders, two demons around—one shrewder than the other, and plenty of enemies to pick from. Even with the demon invasion imminent, Gildya is fussing about Koshmarnyk’s presence in the city, the kingdom of Tivarashan is making its moves to conquer Kaighal, and Kamira would love to toss it all out for a lone journey to find out whether Veelk is still alive. But first, she will need to clean up her mess, one way or another. The archmage is dead! Long live the archmage…! That is, if she can survive assassins, politics, and the lack of Veelk’s biting humor.

Scars of Stone

Discovering the truth about magic is one thing. Doing something about it will require bloodletting, backstabbing, and a bunch of lies. The battle with a demonic foe had opened Kamira’s and Veelk’s eyes: they were unprepared for their task. If they want a chance of freeing Veranesh from his crystal prison, they need the help of a brilliant inventor imprisoned by Gildya, a man also desired by the refugee queen, Cahala, who will stop at nothing to slake her thirst for magic. Time is also of the essence as Archmage Yoreus maneuvers for power. Once he claims the title of the first archmage for himself, he will tie up all loose ends, and that entails burying Kamira, Veelk, and a long line of secrets he’d prefer to be forgotten. Kamira and Veelk have a rule, “no heroics, survival first.” When dealing with demons, avoiding heroics is easy. But survival? Not so much.

By the Pact

High mages lied: Veranesh, the demon who destroyed the continent is still alive. And it's up to their former student to expose the truth-even if it means another Cataclysm. When Kamira, a once high mage student turned arcanist, discovers an imprisoned demon in underground ruins, she is forced into a pact that grants her powerful magic, but also ties her to the very demon that once devastated the continent... and Veranesh wants his freedom. With one friend by her side, Veelk, a mage killer bound on protecting her, Kamira will have to outwit the archmages, other demons, and possibly her own demonic benefactor to survive. Her chances are slim, but with Veelk's ever-present sarcastic repartee, Kamira might just pull through. Plots and schemes, power and means-sometimes the price for victory is choosing which friend will die, but when you only have one friend, the choice is... easy?
